Hi Y'all, I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 I purchased in 2000. It was a salvaged vehicle with about 20,000 miles on it. It's been a great truck all these years. Currently, it has around 242,000 miles and is still serving my transportation and workload needs.
However, as nature and time usually have its way with not only people but material things as well. It's showing signs of maturity. Very unusual signs I might add. Such as the stereo coming on in the middle of the night when the truck is sitting in the driveway and I'm in bed. I have to pull the fuse after I shut off the engine to keep my battery up. Crazy huh?
I've been using this forum for several years now as a reference to help me with repairs and maintenance but this is my first post. I'll be seeing y'all around this forum. Have a great day.
