Hello,
Hi all, my name is Rick and I have very recently purchased my first ford ranger.
I hope to learn from the experiences of those posting here, I have been doing my own wrenching for more years than I care to admit but am more than willing to confess that every time I work on my vehicles I learn something.
I am currently converting a 76 goldwing into what I like to call a "buffet racer" I'm too old and fat for a cafe racer but it kinda follows those lines
I have a 99 dodge caravan w/dropped floor and wheelchair access and it seems to always need something fixed. "my wife suffered a stroke 2yrs ago at the young age of 49 and has lost the use of the right half of her body. I myself am 60
A 2002 Goldwing, the recently purchased 2006 Ranger XLT, and a 95 Fleetwood Southwind motorhome round out the stable. I am looking forward to interacting with this forum and hope to maybe meet a few of you.

I am so sorry for both of you, You might wander through some of the RV forums, I've seen some dialogue between mobility enhanced rigs.

Re: Hello,
The wife would really love to do some traveling, but I will have to do my own modifications to the rv, as it stands now her chair won't fit through the door but she is working at getting some use of her right leg thru physical therapy. As soon as she can navigate the steps I'll take her for a trip.

Re: Hello,
Sounds like a great plan. Happy to hear she's working at the PT. Good luck!
