Because I recently traded my 2014 RAM SRW 3500 and Montana High Country Fiver for a 2018 Coachman Leprechaun Class C (on a Ford E450 platform) I needed a new pickup. A neighbor had a red 94' Splash so I made a deal to get it. Will install a new fuel pump and fuel filter to solve an issue of stalling the neighbor had. I will not drive it until that gets fixed so I do not get stranded like he did.

Found the Forum searching for the fuel pump issues.

Curious how you were planning on doing the fuel pump. I know the bed is extremely light because I help my step son put a lift kit on his splash. I have seen where some say it is easy to remove the bed bolts and slide the bed back a little to get to the fuel pump rather than drying to drop the tank...

Replacing the fuel filter is always a good idea but You should diagnose it before throwing any parts at it. A $20 pressure tester will do it in a few minutes. There's Schrader valve on the fuel rail where you test it. Start a new thread in the 4 banger forum. This is for introductions only!
