Default Ranger coolant issue

A 2000 Ranger is expelling coolant through the reservoir tank. No coolant in the oil and the vehicle doesn't run hot. The radiator has been boiled out. Any ideas of what the problem is?

Have you tried replacing your radiator cap? The radiator cap is rated to keep the cooling system in your vehicle pressurized. It is part the system that makes coolant mix into a magic liquid which doesn't boil off at 212 degrees, like water normally would. It also controls coolant flow into the reservoir, so if it gets old, it will allow more coolant to pass into the reservoir. The cost about $10 at a parts store.

Doubtful.. Water pump creates the pressure in the water system but the simple Radiator cap is what keeps it all in check and controls the actual overflow tank.
