Greetings from MO
Hello. Been a Ford truck/SUV fan my whole life. Really love the Rangers! I own a 1993 Ranger XL that my dad bought new the year I graduated HS. It has the 2.3 with a 5 speed. It came with 2 options. It had metallic paint (which was a $50 option at the time), and it came with a free bedliner which was a promotion the dealership was doing at the time. No radio, no power steering, nothing! We added power steering and several other goodies over the years from salvage yards. It now has over 560,000 miles on it, and it's still running strong! Motor has never been rebuilt. A couple timing belts, starters, alternator and water pump, and that's about it. Unbelievable motor!
I'm in the process now of dropping a 5.0HO motor out of a '95 Mustang into a 1990 Bronco II with a solid axles swap from a 1976 Bronco. Really excited to do that, but have lots of questions. I know it's not a Ranger, but figured it's a brother to them!
Thanks!
Pat
