Default Another FNG

Hey everybody. I'm Big_John and I enjoy long walks on the beach and spending quality time with my Ranger.

OK, seriously.... I just bought a 2010 Ranger. I decided I didn't need my big Ford Excursion anymore and bought this one off a used car lot. It's a North Caroline truck, so it's rust free. It's a plain vanilla truck.... No options except for the automatic trans. An Orkin pest control sign would look at home on it.

I'm retired and have a couple old Mopars in the garage that I play around with.

Here's a pic from the used car lot... I've been too lazy to take one in the driveway.

Big_John, in December I picked up an 09 plain Jane Ranger just like yours except it has a manual tranny and a impossible to use Pioneer radio. First truck in over 30 years and I find myself using it to haul stuff nearly every day. Not retired, but work second shift and it seems the little Ranger is in high demand. Nobody warned me of this when I was talking about getting a pickup!

John, welcome to FRF. Where are there beaches near Syracuse?. My wife & I lived west of Rochester for 8 years before moving back to NJ in 2011.

All over the place... I have two of the Finger Lakes (Otisco and Skaneatles) within 15 minutes. Within a half hour, there are four more. Drive 45 minutes and I'm on Lake Ontario. Then there's the rivers and creeks and I can drive 5 minutes and walk along the Erie Canal.
