Look forward to joining the ranger community. I bought a 2006 ranger sport 2wd 5 speed 3.0 to drive to work. I bought it to keep the miles down on my new gmc. I love the way the rangers drive. But like with anything I'm always looking to tinker. Ive drove it quiet a bit since I've hauled it home a few days ago. So far I have bought in channel rain guards, and have set up an appointment at a local tire shop to have new American racing baja wheels(15x8) and 235/75-15 Yokohama geolander ats tires put on. I was REALLY wanting cragar soft 8s but the bajas are close enough. Nobody around me could get the cragars. I bought the black since my truck is torch red, and I'm going with the chrome hardware(center caps, lugs, and valve stems). I have also set up a day to have the windshield and windows tinted. 70% on the whole windshield and 17% on the rest with a strip over the 70 on the windshield.
I'm looking at a few more upgrades over the next little bit. I will be installing HID headlights and fogs with new fog lenses. Definitely adding a new stereo, been looking at the touchscreen double dins with Bluetooth and satellite radio. Possibly adding a small woofer if I can get it to fit in the single cab. I would also like to install a remote start. That's probably the best thing about my gmc. It's nice hopping into a nice warm truck in the winter months.
I'm still debating on putting a light bar in the front bumper or putting in the roll bars and putting the KC style lights up over the cab. Everything I add will more than likely be black. Again i am glad to be here and look forward to meeting everybody.
