Howdy folks! Portland by way of Missouri...
I guess that's fitting seeing how the Oregon Trail began in Missouri, hehheh.
Anyway, I'm Crosspeen - yeah, like the blacksmith's hammer. I have a battered '88 Ranger XLT long bed with that weezing 2.9 l v6 under the hood. It's the only one I've ever seen with dual tanks. I got T - boned in it about three years ago and had to lay a single tanked bed on it and mod the bed to get one of the fuel filler doors welded into the side of it so i could keep both tanks. Two tanks are pretty handy when you're crossing Wyoming to get back home for the holidays, lol. At last count, the old girl is six different colors and I pride myself knowing she's the twentieth most ugly truck in Portland, Oregon. Ah, you can't always win...
I'm in my fifth decade on this planet and when I think of it, I've had a half dozen Ranger based vehicles verses the four vintage Mustangs I had back when I could afford to buy them. I guess the Ponies are my Mustangs these days. I've been tooling with old junk for quite a while.
By trade I repair hydro turbine generators and wind turbine generators - basically an electric motor mechanic. At night, I'm a musician and song writer. I play the guitar. Just another country boy living in a city, but it's alright.
Nice to meet y'all. Talk with ya soon! :thumb

Howdy folks, I'm Crosspeen. When it's running, I haul around in an '88 Ranger XLT 4x4 with that anemic little 2.9 liter six. She's a beater. She's been t-boned, bashed and battered. Flowmaster cat back and KnNed. Ugly as a mud fence, but runs strong when she wants to. She spends my money like a waterfall, but I still love her.
