Default Mazda b3000

Got a guy trading my hot tub which I don't use for a 1996 b3000 extra cab 4x4. It's not bad shape. Dirty and needs a clutch. I think I'm going to do it. I heard it's cheaper to buy Ford parts instead of mazda. Is that true? Thanks

Default Re: Mazda b3000

From shopping around for the clutch in my 99 2.5, napa had the cheapest parts. The clutch came in a kit with the clutch plate, pressure plate, slave cylinder, pilot bearing, and alignment tool, but I bought a second slave cylinder from napa that already had a throwout bearing on it. When I compared to my old parts, the one I bought separate matched more exact so that's the one I used. Good luck on the repair!!
1999 ranger 2.5 2x4 5spd manual in midlife crises-
Some black wheels and high-aspect ratio tires/Cheapo off-road lights/Zip-tie gas pedal spacer/Swapped firing order on secondary coils/Exhaust leak (sounds fast-ish)
...idk I'm broke so to be continued
