Default Massachusetts checking in

New member, Adam, from Massachusetts here.
I have a new to me 1997 rear wheel 5 speed manual 4.0 6 cylinder xlt.
Just picked it up. Some rust underneath on things but overall body is great. I believe t came out of a barn. Dry rot tires and a small rust spot o. The door but otherwise really really great shape. Just did all four ball joints and replaced and replaced and re packed the front bearings. Also four new tires and alignment. It's a 97 so no more mass emissions so the evap code that triggered the engine light is going to stay put. Never chasing an evap sensor for mass again.
y goal is to get my ranger to 250k from the 120 it is at now. I will use this site to the best of my ability to accomplish that goal. Any help is appreciated.

I am not a mechanic at all. I am a chef by trade Who enjoys fixing and figuring.
