Hey everyone, decided to finally make a profile in a forum. I'm not very good with forums as I've tried them before and couldn't get around them too well. But I've been snooping around and felt that I might as well make one lol.
Bought my very first ranger December 30th, 2016.
2001 3.0 5speed. Very fun to drive. In the short time I've had it, it has gotten a LSD 8.8. 2 inch blocks in the back and cut front springs. Waiting on the tax return to get here so I can get DJM control arms and Belltech 3 inch springs. Hoping it'll put me back where it sits now but with much much MUCH less bouncing lol.
Excuse me if I mess up any postings, I'm still trying to get all of this figured out.

A little about myself
I'm from Houston. 22 years old. Currently not employed as I am searching but I was working at the Port of Houston as my dad and uncle have been there for over 30 years. I went to school to learn how to machine and build engines. Sadly, every time I tried going into that industry after my studies it didn't work out too well. But, keeping my hopes up to one day hopefully get back to it. But for now I just need to work! The bright side of dating a girl who's dad has a good job as an electrician is that I can be brought in! Just waiting for that call back now.
Dropped trucks in my area are a very common thing but mini trucks don't seem to have a home here. I used to have a Sonoma that was also lowered but was a complete pos. Originally bought this truck instead of a Hardbody that I was really interested in. A small group of friends and I were hoping to start going to drift events and mini trucks are a cheap way to start getting into it. So I knew right away the 8.8 read end was the way to go. I've taken it out sliding already and it's uber fun. Now, it's more of a daily then a drift project most definitely. But most vehicles I've owned usually get beat on anyway. If it breaks, then oh well I fix it. No biggie. I already had an accident two nights ago. I was coming from a LowLife meet about 20 miles from home. Half way home my ball joint snapped in half at 70 mph. Scariest moment I've experienced. My girlfriend was me in the truck and I'm glad we made it to the shoulder safely. But hey, things happen. She's back on the road with all new ball joints.
