Old guy, new member
Hey Y'all,
I've been around Fords since the 60's and owned my '89 BII since '94. She now has about 320,000 miles on her, and we had more adventures than I can remember (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it)
My main job is in designing and building hardscapes, as well as solving erosion issues.
The reason that I decided to join this forum is that my latest client has an '89 2WD Ranger that I'm considering taking in trade for part of my labor, and so I'm exploring some options on where to go with her.
I've already done the lifted 4X4 thing with my BII, and I have plans to use this truck as a more genteel DD.
I'd like to lower her a couple of inches, and improve the ride and handling, as well as swap up to at least an 15" wheel.
She has 80k on her, so I'm also going to be doing some required maintenance, tune up (Motorcraft), fluids (synthetic), and probably do the rockers for good measure.
I'd be happy to post pics of any or all of these.
Any way, I look forward to reading and contributing to the site.
