Default First Ford for me, in TN.

Howdy everyone. My name is John (hint from the screen name) and I just purchased a 2008 Ford Ranger XL. This is my first Ford, and while I looked at F-150s, I realized that I didn't want or need to pay extra for something I didn't need. I've had my Ranger for about two weeks, and haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. She's pretty plain jane: hand roll windows, basic stereo (which I've replaced with a Kenwood CD player for my ipod), automatic, 2WD and 35K miles. I've owned a slew of Chevrolets and my Grandfather always told me they were the best, so I'm trying to keep an open mind about my first Ford. My dad's gone back and forth between the brands for years, and is currently driving an 03 F-150 and loves it.

The next thing I want to buy (pretty soon really) is a tool box. I've been looking and I'm a little concerned about the bed size, but I'll probably jsut end up getting a Kobalt at Lowe's. I'm open to suggestions.

I'll probably take a few pics this weekend while we are out playing around and shooting off fireworks. Thanks for reading, and hopefully I'll be able to contribute and learn from the pros.

I'm looking for a toolbox too. Before you by I've found a few place who have black low profile boxes for fairly cheap. A lot of your big chains of hardware stores and auto parts dealers have very steep price. For example I checked autozone while I was there and they priced me one in the high 400's! So I would check around before I'd buy.

Thanks for welcome. I'll probably look around a little more before buying, thanks for the tips on where to look. Also, I'm from the Cleveland area. Dayton is just a little ways down the road.
