Good Morning ..... I have a 1998 Ranger with 185,000 miles - I recharged the A/C and it blows cold when you turn it on max but if you turn the selector off and then back on it will not kick the A/C back in ? That's one issue the second one is - if i keep it on max and then start driving once I push the gas peddle down hard to accelerate like getting on a freeway ramp it starts blowing warm air - once i let off the gas it starts blowing cold again - is this a blender door issue ????

Update - I found a broken vacuum line to the heater control valve that has solved the one issue but I'm still having the first issue where when the a/c cycles it will not come back on - is there a cycling switch or relay that could cause this ???? Trying to get this solved so my son will enjoy driving my truck back and forth to work until he can get his own ride , that way I will get my little truck back - retired and missing my truck
