My name is Michael, and I ran across this site looking for technical info on a drivability issue. How unique eh?!

I'm fiddy seven years old, going on nineteen, and live in a remote rural part of Del Norte County in Northern California. I work for the Dept. of Transportation. In a previous life I spent 25 years in the auto repair field, mostly specializing in European brands.

I'm nutty about motorcycles, both off road, and road bikes.

I bought my 2002 Ranger new, it is bone stock, has 107,000 miles, and has been a great truck for me. Last week on the way to work it spooked me with its first EEC IV problem, so I'm in the process of trying to figure it out.
