Hi all,

Our 2001 Ranger XLT had an unfortunate encounter with a suicidal deer the other night here in the Texas hill country. Knocked out the driver's side light, corner light and damaged the grill assembly and header panel. This forum looks like a great place for how-to information. My husband drives the truck about 100 miles a day commuting to work and also uses it to haul stuff around, from road bicycles to DIY projects to food (he's a chef).

We're working on this little repair project together, and are happy to find this forum. I've used online car forums before to keep our old ancient van on the road and have saved a lot of $$ and gained a much better understanding of what we can do ourselves. These kind of forums are one of the best things about the internet.
