Howdy all! I just bought a 2003 Ranger XL Reg Cab, 2.3L, 2wd, manual, short bed truck this past Friday. This will be my first Ranger ever. It's got 130,000 miles on it. The body is in great shape but the rest of it definitely needs some TLC.

I took it out for a short drive yesterday for the first time and oh WOW does this thing need shocks, tires and brakes. And, apparently both stabilizer bar end links are missing their bushings. She's leans like the freaking Titanic in hard turns.

The tranny is a bit notchy and there's a very soft thud from under the truck when shifting into 1st and 2nd even before letting the clutch out (not sure what that is yet).

Any way, I've got my work cut out for me. I enjoy working on vehicles and taking them from semi-basket case to a great daily driver and this one will be no different.
