New to the forum...Check me out!
Hello all. I've been using this site for a few days trying to get some insight from members on what works and doesn't work on Rangers. It's been quite a help to me and my decisions on what to do next to my Ranger.
Speaking of my ranger: it is a 2004 XLT 4.0L 4X4 Super Cab...2 door I'll post pics soon. Bought it brand new in 2004 and will be making my last payment in August. So it's gonna be all mine finally! This isn't my first Ranger. My first was a 1990 absolute base truck. Didn't even have power steering. But, I swore that was the best truck on the road. It sold me on Rangers ever since. My Next Ranger was a 1993 4.0L 4x4 Super Cab with all the bells and whistles. It even had electric seat bolsters that filled the sides by your legs up with air when you push a button...crazy. The front of those seats extended too. Never seen that since. Anyway, I came across a brand new 2002 Edge 2wd for a good price and bought it off the lot. That one lasted about 1 1/2 yrs. Traded up for my 2004 I have now. I'll be keeping this one. I'm fresh out of the Army and living in the DC area right now still working for DoD only as a civilian now. Play guitar, piano, write music, copy others' music too. I'm on ps3 and xbox360 under the same name as on here (ranger5572) Feel free to add me. Let me know you're from the forum so I know. I do amateur computer designing...business cards, logos, t-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads...www.printfection.com/stickman, if you want to see some of my older stuff I've done for my dad and some friends (hope we can post url's) That's about it. The current mods on my '04: carbon-fiber-look tail lights (DEPO) painted door panels, center console, door locks...all matching silver (brother's a body man so the paint looks real nice) Line-X was done the first week I bought the truck Westin Step bars Painted the head lights myself...that sucked, but looks great AVIC-D3 GPS, DVD, Ipod, XM stereo, with Pioneer speakers in the rear Pioneer amp...nothing special, but does the trick Truck box-speakers from Radio Shack I bought for my '90 tool box mounted in the bed bug shield and window vents Coming mods: 32x11.5 BFG A/Ts Dick Cepek DC-2 Black rims Westin brush guard PA 3" body lift OEM fender flares who knows what else??? Anyway, I look forward to being a member and hope I can help yall out as much as yall help me out
