Default new to the forums

I drive a 1996 ford ranger xlt 4x4. I have chopped the muffler off and just bought a new set of wheels that i need help with sizing.

I have no idea how to work these kind of things but i do need help with finding the right fitting tires for the new wheels i just bought.

i just purchased a set of 15x10's. ive heard ppl say 8 all the way to 10.5 tires fit great. Anyone have any ideas?

sorry if this isnt very introduction like.

Might want to post your question in the appropriate tech section as not everyone checks the "intro" threads.

That said, tire manufacturers will list a "recommended wheel width" for every size tire they produce. If your wheel is 10 inches wide - I personally wouldn't run anything narrower than a 12.5" wide tire on them.
