I'm in the market for a "budget-priced" (cheap) Ranger and thought this would be the place to get info from real owners. I'm thinking I want 2 wheel drive with auto trans but am unsure about the engine. I realize that low price will probably mean high mileage but need to know if certain engines have a history of good reliability at higher mileages. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

These trucks can really rack uo the milage if well taken care of, and I'm not sure how big your budget is, or how much these trucks sell for in your area, but in Michigan 2,000 goes a long way for a great truck!
