first forum
Hey this is my first ever forum i have joined hoping to get a lot of information out of it. I have a 01 4.0 xlt with 4 inch rancho suspension lift and a leveling kit in the front 33x12.50 bfg all terrains, dual magnaflow exhaust and a k&n intake. I love my truck but am wishing to get more power out of her as it has a tuff time push those 33's. So am looking for mods to boost torque and horsepower but keep the mpg as i am only getting 13 to 15 in the city if i keep my foot out of it. Thanks, clay.

yeah post some pics!! for the 33s, you really dont need to get alot more power, you just need to regear.

make a photobucket account, upload pics, then copy [IMG] tags of the pics. I think there is a how to somewhere around here. or you can use the "Go advanced" feature and upload them as an attachment. We like the IMG tags though so we dont have to go clicking on more things

yeah, there isnt really any good way to get alot of power out of the 4.0 other than the basics like CAI and stuff, even then, its not alot. You are going to want 4.10 gear. I dont know what gears you have in your truck

Yeah i have 4.10 gears with a limited slip differential and i know i was not looking to cash out on new gears. hmm what about a perfomance chip or headers, or a mass air flow sensor or maybe even a throttle body? Do you recommend any of those?

like I said, they may help, but I dont know if you'll see any real gains. A tuner might help biggest. But maybe one of these lifted guys will step in to help me out here

Welcome to FRF!
You shouldnt need to regear for 33's if you have the 4.10's. Your gas mileage will go down a bit, but on 33's with 4.10's you'll be fine.
