Default Late Introduction

While browsing the forum to day, it occurred to me that I never actually took the time to properly introduce myself. I don't normally do this kind of thing so bear with me, if you would.

My name is Cameron Howard, 16 years of age (17 this November) at a height of 5'6". I am quite the geek when it comes to gaming as well as electronics. If you've read my build log it ought to be painfully obvious I have a borderline obsession with LEDs, lights in general really. I've been that way before I even knew what they really were, so most of my life.

I am also an avid fan of firearms and vehicles alike but of course I do have my favorites. I also greatly enjoy playing the guitar, a 12 string martin acoustic being my primary guitar. With that comes a true love of music. Almost every day I'm listening to music at every chance I get, including mostly Country, Jazz, Rock (Metal, hard, or soft), but I'll listen to almost anything.

My truck is a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT painted a beautiful Harvest Gold with nice chrome bumpers. I bought it about four months ago for 3400 from a nice pair of people. This ranger is my very first vehicle and I couldn't be happier, and I am it's third owner.

It's primary owner could no longer drive it, so he handed the keys to his wife who only drove it during the winter which left it sitting for the rest of the year. Despite this, it ran almost perfectly when I brought it home. A can of seafoam spray, oil change and new plugs later it runs with a nice Lynx-like purr. Rather spunky for a 3.0 Vulcan.
Originally I was under the impression that it had the towing package. After all it had towing hooks and a Reese hitch. Turns out that these were not fitted from the factory, but aftermarket.
If you want to see what I've done to her, check my build log. There's far more there than what I can talk about here.

I am full of ideas and different ways to pull off various electric modifications. I'm always happy to help when I can. You'll see me most often in the 'interior tech', 'exterior tech' and 'electrical' forum sections.

Before I finish off this post, I would like to add that since my registration I have loved this website. Everyone I've met has been very friendly and willing to help, even if what I ask is stupid on occasion .
