Hey everyone. I just got a 2000 Ranger Xl single cab 5 speed to have as a weekend warrior about 2 months ago and its been doing its job well. Through info on here I have cleaned the throttle body along with the iac and man did that help. The only other thing I have done other than some maintenance stuff has been flat blacking the bumpers and they look great. Since then I bought the xlt chrome bumpers, door skins, the b pillar handles along with little odds and ends. I then sold the bumpers not feeling the chrome and it paid for all the miscellaneous parts I got since I only paid 140 for all the parts I got. Two days ago I bought a 2000 Explorer in good shape for 750 and Im gonna switch some stuff over. The tires and wheels, the cluster with the tach and radio is coming over to the ranger along with the explorer rear axle if I can do some fab at my cousins garage. Its safe to say that Im all in lol. Anywho I look foward to this journey into ranger land. My daily driver is an Accord Sport but this little truck is fun and has paid off the 700 bucks it cost me through clean ups at the house and side work.
