Found the site while searching for info on a no start on my daughters 2000 ranger. 4.0 L. 105,000 miles.
Daughters always bring their vehicles back to daddy to fix & pay for the parts
Found lots of helpful info.
Stopped running but would turn over
Replaced the fuel pump & inertia switch. Started & ran fine for a few days. Parked it one night & now it turns over but wont start again. Going with the crankshaft sensor now.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Daughter was able to change the crankshaft position sensor with my help & it fired right up.
