Hello again to all. Sorry for the short intro yesterday, I was short on time.
Anyway heres more info.
I have a 1987 XLT 4x4 that was originally 2.9l V6 5-speed. Now however it is in process of becoming a 2.3l Turbo. Im going to run a Mitsubishi FM145 5-speed from an 85 Bronco 2 and a BW1350 Manual TC. I have a Dana 28 Front that is 3.73 and will soon be Limited Slip and a 7.5" Rear with 3.73 and will soon be Limited Slip. The truck had a 4" Black Diamond Suspension Lift and 30x9.50-15 Daytona Timberline M/Ts. I just put a set of Pro Comp Rockcrawler Rims in Flat Black.
Im going to run an IHI Turbo and a JDM Intercooler set up. Im thinking about running a Center Mount Header but Im not sure yet.
My engine came out of an 88 Tbird and I plan on rotating the upper intake 90 degrees. To accomplish this I designed, engineered and machined an adapter to make this a bolt-on task!
Here are some pics. The truck is in process so its not pretty but I love this truck!
Im having a good time working on this when I get a chance. By the way, mikesturbo94, I am a member of TRF. My username is 4bangerranger. I am also a member of The Ranger Station.
Thanks to all for the warm welcome!
