2002 Ranger
Hello,
Well I have not bought it yet, but need some advice on it. I never owned a Truck before, I own a 07 Acura TL. I want a truck for doing stuff around the house, and as a small project etc. I am looking an 2002 XLT 6cyc, 125k, syleside. The place wants 5900 for it. The truck looks clean, its a one owner according to car fax. No dents, etc. What do you guys think? Worth the money? Can get better? Or what is a fair price? This is supposed to be nothing wrong with it. Is that alot of miles or nothing to be worried about? id get a 4x4, for that price you can get any of these:

Welcome! The truck looks clean and the price ain't that bad if you ask me. The miles are not what I would call high for an 02. I am sure you meant to put this put the truck is actually a "step side".

look for that price you can get a 67000 mile Ranger in ex cab, 4x4, etc....

the only things i really see it needs is some BFG tires and put a good coat of Krylon Fusion Satin black on the plastic trim and give her a good cleaning

Its a nice truck, but think its a fake ad. I emailed him again, he never responded to my last email or phone call so I assumed it was sold.
Anyway most of the rangers I see are really beat. If you look at your results they are all asking like 4-6k for a truck in the late 90s. Dents everwhere, looks like they were used in a battle field, lol .Are they serious? Maybe thats just what they go for. I am looking for something clean, thats reliable.
