Default good to be here

Im a heavy equipment tech in meridian ID. I do tattoos when Im not in school or working on my truck. Check out spiritlandstattoo on facebook for some of my work-

My truck- Ive had this 99 ranger for about five years. It was my work truck before I cut it up. Shes been sitting for a few years and just recently is getting the attention she deserves. I just bagged it and shaved my handles. Used poppers for the first time and after getting some kinks worked out Im enjoying them problem free. I used to just use the key hole to pop my doors. Im having to reengineer my front suspension. This is as low as she goes right now.
I will be taking lots of pics and explaining how I do things for anyone having problems laying their ranger. My next step is to build 3 inch drop control arms and mod the uppers to limit camber. There isnt much info on this elsewhere so I plan to document everything. Ill be doing an angled body drop from 1 inch in the back to about 3.5 in front. Ill be tubbing and relocating everything under the hood and the bed will be tubbed and all sheet metal will be redone. Shes gonna have a two-tone paint scheme. I may build a cantilever setup for the rear and eventually a tubular frame. I will also cover fabricating anew tranny x-member. The bodydrop will be done with channels over the frame rails to keep from screwing up my foot room.
Im only about two months into this truck so I hope my future posts will be usefull. Rangers look so sexy laid out and I dont know why people are so afraid to take them on. I picked this truck for that reason alone. I have also had an 83 datsun with a 4.5 bodydrop, fully shaved on pathfinder rims with dual ported half inch bags. It laid doors. Anyhow thanks for having me in this forum, I hope I have something to offer and I hope to learn from you guys as well.
