My old Ranger
I'm Greg I have a 93 Ranger XLT I purchased in 94. I have 98,110 miles on the truck. It's stock! I have not made any mods other than a new radio. I have replaced too many parts to list. the latest and the best $26.00 I have spent on it lately was a shifter rebuild kit. I also just replaced calipers, rotors, bearings, seals, pads this past weekend. The ONLY time it's left me stranded in 20 years was when we bounced a penny into the cigarette lighter while it was in use. Hence the lighter got pushed back in and drained the battery. Lighter still works by the way.
I have replaced (partial list) clutch ass. (full), everything on the front of motor, Alt, compressor, ps pump (still whines) all pulleys, fuel filler system, and more. I want to put a set of comfortable Bilsteins in the front, been running monroe, gaberial... and they don't last and the ride is not to great. I had Bilsteins on my 03 Tacoma and enjoyed them. I am looking at the comfort bilstein Part Number: 24-029063 anyone have any knowledge? I know this is the welcome thread so WELCOME all information.... I will post some photos... of the truck not my old ass!
