Talking Greetings All

I currently own a '07 FX4 Level II. This is my 3rd Ranger but my first 4x4. The others were a '96 and a '05. I'm very pleased to have discovered this forum as this is vehicle is the first one that I would like to make uniquely my own by adding some mods. This forum has already answered some of my questions so I'm pleased that everyone is willing to share their experiences and knowledge. I'm looking forward to visiting this site often. Take care and safe driving.

Thanks for the welcome and words of encouragement. Yes, I'm planning on some mods but I'm in the process of scouring the forum to see what everyone is doing to theirs. Things for certain are to crank the T-Bars and put on a larger tire (probably a 32x11.50x15. This site has been instrumental in helping me to make a decision as to which way to go. There is so much one can do to your truck, it just depends on how much you want to spend doesn't it?

Question: What advantages/disavantages are there with a K&N filter? And what is a Flowmaster 40 dumped???

Pictures...in the process. Right now it's completely stock but I'll submit some shortly. Thanks for reminding me. And yes, this site is bloody addicting! Take care all and drive safe.

A 40 dumped mean that it just comes out of the exit side of the muffler and is shot to the ground by the tip. Or dumped out. K&N filters will help your truck breathe better, always a good thing. There is people on here that debate the usefulness of a cold air intake, I'm not going to get into that, but the bottom line is that a k&n will save you money and will allow better breathing but make sure you do the air box mod also to get it's full potential.

On a side note welcome to the FRF, I have a friend that just moved across the border to the North side of Vancouver Island to farm.

Hey Richard, thanks for the 411, I appreciate it. Your friend should enjoy the north end of VI. It's beautiful up there, and more than a little laid back.

Andy...thanks for the welcome.

Lol he does, talked to him today. My parents got married up in Victoria however many years ago. He's an hour up the road from there. He has plenty to play with lol I'm going up sometime to help him cut trees and clear.
