Hello to everyone here in the FRF. I owned a 2000 ford ranger xlt a few years back and sold it to buy a car (stupid). I loved everything about the truck besides it being 2wd. I soon figured out that a car was not for me so I sold it last fall.
I have been riding my motorcycle all winter trying to save up so I could pay cash for a truck. I live in MS so it's not like I was riding in the snow but it sucked some mornings. I started looking for another ranger a few months back and finally ran across a good deal (I think it was a good deal).
It's a 2000 xlt 4wd
ext cab stepside 3.0 v6 and it's light blue color. It has 96k miles on it, which is the same mine had on it when I sold it. The truck is in excellent shape but it had a rough idle. It still had original everything. I just finished installing new plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, IAC valve and I cleaned the MAF sensor. It runs and idles very smooth now.
I ended up giving the owner $4500 cash...did I get a good deal?
