Default Noob from Kansas

Hey all. Here is a little about me. I live in Kansas, drive a bagged 95 ranger ext cab. Nothing too off the wall, just a basic bagged truck, for right now that is..... I heard about this forum from someone on cardomain.com. I am currently a member on several other forums as well as this one now. I am married and have 3 kids. I drive a forklift for a local farm equipment company, as well as do paint and body work on the side. If you have any questions about me or the truck, feel free to ask. Glad to be a part of yet another Ford Ranger forum.

Here's a couple pics of my baby.

Welcome to the site.

I'm not a huge fan of dragging....but I can appreciate a nice truck.

I've heard of the tow balls breaking off while dragging... have you ever had a problem with this? The last thing i'd want to see going down the freeway is a 70 mph 2" ball of steel coming at me

Thanks for the comments guys.

I have heard of the trailer balls breaking off too, but I have yet to have a single issue with them. I am on probably my 6-7 set of them and still no issues. Of course, I usually won't drag with anyone close enough for anything to happen if one was to break. Those pics there was my buddy following me of course, but before we left I told him not to get close because of the possibility, and he said he trusted them. I was half tempted to make him sign a release form or something....lol

No I don't have suicide doors. That is one thing I am considering doing in the future though. I am not totally sold on doing it yet though.
