Could be a loose connection. On mine, a rod is attached to the actuator, then bolted/secured to the rod connecting to the locking that sticks out the door (Don't know what its called, the thing you push down to lock it.) If that bolted/secured section came loose, it'll just slide on the rod, rather than push it.
Or the actuator is busted, in which case you can replace it.
