Anyone have any clue what dashes will swap into ford rangers without MAJOR surgery? By major I mean heavy cutting and welding, etc. Some trimming, and massaging, and maybe some part swaps is not an issue.

Wondering if newer sport tracs(part. 07), Escapes, Edges, Explorers, etc. will fit without having to cut out the firewall, or anything else. Not looking to go to too much trouble, since I could just make a dash if it's too much trouble.

Looking to do something fun and different since I'm redoing my interior.

mustang dashes work, the explorer dashes are identical in every way to the ranger dashes.

Ultimately, this is what I'd like to do, or something similar, or the smaller version out of an Escape. My issue is dimensions, compatibility, etc. I figured I'd find something online, where someone had attempted it before, or something similar, but I can't seem to find anything.

An 04 Sport Trac dash should fit quite easily into a 94 ranger, correct? Dimensions up until recent, have been the same as rangers I believe, same with explorers.

I don't know of anyone who has done that, sweet idea though
