just bought a 1990 2.9l ranger, temp gauge and gas gauge are not working, already checked the fuses any ideas on whats not working?

Those are known for the float in the gas tank to leak, I had a 1992 and it was that, just have to pull the pump and see if the float is full

I'd say some wiring behind your gauge cluster, I've had a jeep that corroded all behind there, but someone else will probably chime in. It sounds electrical.
