Default 96 Ranger Light switch problem, please help.

Ok, so the knob to turn on my lights has been incidentally removed... now i can't get it back on.. Last time this happened I had to rip the whole dash out to fix it. Do you have any reccomendations or am i going to have to take off the whole dash to fix the thing?

headlight switch should screw to the trim panel from the back. have to take it out to get to it.
