biggest problem you are going to have is your air bags. removing the seats is going to disable the entire system. all the info you need is on the thread listed above, but i'll repeat it again.

to mount seats into an ext cab 98+ you need.....93-7 ext cab or 95-01 explorer seat tracks. you will have to trim a hole or two out some. the mustang seats (fox and sn95) will bolt directly to those tracks. you may be able to piece together a power setup using the explorer power tracks.

Actually, I just put 2003 explorer seats in my 2000 Ranger with a 1999 exploder console. Only 2 holes didn't match up but hey, that's what a drills:: for right? Then I just put some silicone over the old holes to seal them up. They're even power, I ran the wire under my carpet.

was it an 03 explorer sport? i think up to 04-5 ex sports and sport tracs will work as well. but 01 is the last year for the 4 door explorer seats to be a fairly direct swap.

Nope, just a regular 2003 explorer with 83,000 miles. Great seats.

I was able to use the back left hole. After that I took a sharpie and marked out where I needed to drill. Cut the carpet, and when to town with a 1/2" drill bit. I had went to ace earlier in the day and got new longer bolts and nuts. Worked great and looks amazing. I'll put some pictures up later today. I was told by a few people on here that it wouldn't work but hey, they're in.
