Default Interior of a 99 ranger
I have the 99 ranger xlt. I bought it used and it's missing the storage compartment or whatever goes in the headliner above the rear view mirror... Does anyone have a pic of what goes there?

maybe an ohc from an explorer someone swapped in??

That seems too big to go in there. It's not a big space at all.

My 2000 XLT doesn't have anything on the headliner above the rear view mirror.

I'm starting to wonder if somebody tried putting in the ohc then. It looks like crap for sure lol. The dome light is also broken where can I find one of them?

ive got mustang domes forsale which is a popular mod to replace the factory dome light

98 + rangers didnt come stock with any type of storage compartment above the mirror or on the ceiling anywhere.. older rangers had a module up there for the 4x4...
most people get the explorer OHCs and install them....

gotta remember though the OHC mounts to a bracket that is about half the size of the actual console.
