driver/passenger side seat belts

99 Ford Ranger
XLT 4x4 Ext. Cab
V6 4.0

I'm posting this thread to see if anyone has any experience with replacing seat belts.. Both (driver/passenger) seat belts are frayed beyond belief, and need to be replaced. It's not fun trying to put either of these seat belts on and half the time I don't even use them because it's too much work when your in a hurry.

Anyways, I'm currently waiting for sunline to pull two seat belts for me because the dealership thinks they can charge around $500 for two seat belts! Does anyone know how hard it is to pull seat belts out of Ranger? I ask this because sunline's crew is having a hard time doing so, and I'm contemplating on whether I should go to a junk yard and do this myself.. I would then take the belts and have someone put them in for me. Unless, does someone have a good and easy way to install seat belts?

I can tell you the bolts can be a pita and may require heat. I have broken torx bits trying to get them loose. I might have some belts....let me know if interested.

How much for two belts plus the rollers?

Let me make sure I have them and check the condition. What color, grey or tan?

I'll try to check tommorrow evening if I get down to the garage. We had a death in the family this evening and I'm not sure whats going to be going on tommorrow.
