Talking New Instrument Cluster

Hey I have a 1997 with manual trans and was wondering if i could swap in a newer (cooler looking) one with a tachometer and better colors. Currently i dont have a tach (which is beyond me why a manual doesnt and and auto does) so i was wondering if i already have the wiring to just "plug and play" or if it would be way to much work. Also if this is possible and not TOO hard what years/kinds of cluster panels fit? Thanks!

95-03 ranger will work, along with 95-01 explorer, 95-03(4) explorer sport/sport trac will work. anything above 98 will require a couple simple swapping of wires. the tach will be plug and play. there are tons of threads about this on here.

Cool. I kinda figured they have a basic wiring setup and just don't plug in the tach at the factory.
