Default OHC Problem?

Well I got the OHC installed today, very nice day out. After getting everything hooked up I go check it out. The map lights don't work and the temp is stuck at 38*( it was 54* at the time). The compass works after setting the VAR. Too tired to check wires today, maybe tomorrow. Any thoughts? It looks good.

I checked one(what a PIA) and it was good. Blue/white and blue/yellow on the temp sensor.

I was thinking the same on the temp sensor. Tapped into the wires for the dome light according to the OHC How-To.

the reason i state that is my friend ,the one i got my unit from, has the same issue with the temp reading but that's due to the fact he has yet installed the sensor .. for reasons of his own he is working on both the OHC and interior projects at the same time lol

so my best guess is the sensor or wiring to the unit thats flawed

Well the temp sensor seems to read the lowest temp and sticks there. Now it reads 29*. Haven't checked the lights out yet, waiting for it to warm up a little more, 33* right now.

When doing electical work your best tool is the VOM! Turns out I had a bad wire from the OHC to the dome light. Replaced the wire and now I have lights, cool. I didn't know that the light will come on when you open the door. Now I need another temp sensor, anybody got a spare one?
