Hey guys, I just pulled the seat cover out of my truck to totally clean the interior on it and found a "hump" towards the "bottom center" of the drivers seat on the back (facing the rear). It felt like it clicked when I turned the lumbar support but didn't really move in/out or anything.

Any ideas on what it is and if something is broken inside the seat back? I will try to get a pic soon.

Waiting on pic,when i had my cover off to do the 60/40 to bucket mod I didn't notice anything unusual about mine? I do have a 2009 so maybe the seat has changed but I doubt it.

back spring? not sure what they are called exactly but they run the length of the back of the seat and when mine broke that is what it did just left a bump in the fabric

it's a metal rod that runs top to bottom of the seat frame, to support the foam. 98-03 seats are notorious for those rods to break.
