Default Interior Panels

Does anyone know how to remove the interior panel and plastic behind the seats where the speakers are attatched to? There are little plastic circles and I dont know if they pop out or what. I need to hide some wires behind the covers and I can't figure out how to remove them. Just wondering if there is a way to do so without breaking anything Thanks for any help.

Those are push pins and they like to break when you remove them, I would try to just tuck the wires under the edges...

Order a bunch of the push pins that way you can put new ones in if they break.

they pull out, and yes they can tend to break. Usually pulling on the panel will pull them out, or they have a tool that slips under both sides of pin, then you just lift off.

Here it is

i fucking hate those pins, ive broken like 5 of them in my truck. best way to take em off, take a fork, and bust off the 2 inner prongs, then slide the fork under the head of the pin and pull it out.

Default Re: Interior Panels

I am changing my headliner and had to remove everyone of them, and did not break any of them. On some of them I can see a stress mark in the center of the button. I will be replaceing them also.

Get behind the button with a needle nose pliers, grab the stem that pushes in .while using a screw driver for leverage. Slowly lever the pins out.

Does anyone know where to get new push pins?
