Whats a good, affordable ODB reading / code clearing system?

I have determined that most mechanical / electrical challanges are directly connected to the nut that connects the steering wheel to the drivers seat.

i got one at costco for like 35 bucks, but costco carries different crap per the region

you could get scangauge, then you can read/clear codes plus like 20 other things, their like $150 new but theres a bunch used on the interwebs

Harborfreight also has some from $19.00 - $35 dollars

Never heard of an odb scanner before. But yeah, harbor freight and northern tool sell some obd readers pretty cheap. Of course you could always just have it done for free at auto zone

+1 on the costo one, code key. i got my for $29. my is just a reader for more money you can get one that helps with diagnostics. depends on your budget. you can go to AZ. I got sick of that so i got my own.
