Default Leak after hurricane

Hey fellas..i live in jersey and as everybody knows the hurricane hit us head on any who i have a 02 edge super cab and it was parked in my driveway through out the storm and today i hop in to go to work and i noticed there was a decent amount of water on the pass side front floor i looked around and couldnt find a trail of water..has this happened to anybody or have an idea of wear it might be coming from??? i cant have my baby leaking like that lol...thanks in advance

Vehicles are not airtight, so water can still get in through the windows and/or doors. I would definitely check the bottom door area since there should be drainage like holes. Someone had mentioned on here that his weren't fully punched out from the factory, but it was also a newer vehicle, I believe. I don't know what else to say. If water came up to the bottom of the door, then, it can enter the vehicle, and since it started, I presume it ran fine so it wasn't like the Ranger was underwater. You should be fine, but you probably should get a shopvac to suck out the water since it won't dry out on its own in this weather.

ok ill def check for the drainage holes..but im just stumped because water didnt reach that high in my area..and ive had the truck over a year now and its been thru a few rain showers and its never leaked before..i wonder if it was just the force of wind driven rain.. idk i might have to run a hose in some spots and see if it leaks..idk but i still appreciate your help thanks a bunch
