Exclamation Windows.... why not some mini blinds

Ok... anyone else have the loose window thing? My driver side window, rolls up, it rolls down, it rolls up... not straight.... its like its loose... or sticking somewhere.... it doesn't struggle to go up or down.... its weird... anyway if i push on the window... on the latch side of the door, it rolls up fine... if I don't it has a small air gap at the top left if your sitting in the truck... WARNING... this does infact let water in...

I have no idea about your problem but I'm glad it has nothing to do with your title... haha

One of two things:
1. Regulator has teeth that have been stripped at the higher end of the gear.
2. The three "roller bearings" in the motor are shot.
My reg. has about three teeth missing, so I attribue it to that. Might want to see what some of the others post regarding this. I'm curious as to what the guru's say also.

How 'bout neither of those two things. My drivers window has been doing that since new, except it doesn't stick open with a gap when you close it all the way. It just straightens back up at the top. It doesn't lean over bad, just a lil bit, but enough to annoy me.

I don't know how to explain it but I've had similar issues with other cars. I've had to order a new window b/c the teeth or something that catches the window is off or something. Which in turn doesn't allow to go up and down smoothly. Check with like Safelite or Cindy Rowe (maybe just a a PA business) but they can definitely tell you.

The problem you're having is not what the OP is talking about.

I donít have an opening but there is an air gap.

I have to apply pressure backwards on the window when rolling it up to keep it from whistling when driving.

Was thinking of adding a teflon strip to the front of the window track.

my windows go up and down fine and seal when they get to the top fine but they seem very loose and wobbly on the way up and on the way down

Ok, I talked to the ford dealer today, he told me to try spraying a little silicon spray in the tracks. I have not done this yet and wanted to get some opinions. The guy from the ford dealer said it happens because the window is tight on one side but loose on the other. Exactly what is going on with mine Scrambler82!!! I cant stand the air noise... drives me crazy... if I wanted to hear that, I would take out the windows and "Install Mini Blinds" HAHAHAHA
