If you put in a small radio, you can cut the hole bigger and install an Explorer Overhead Console(OHC). If you go with a full size radio like mine, the hole that has to be cut is alot wider than the OHC. Screwed.

Get a 29ltd BT...bluetooth radio. You can get 'em with backlighting now too. That's a feature I wish mine has.

The 29ltd BC(black chrome) that I have is long since out of production.

Not a CB but same concept. I put mine under my AM/FM radio. Attatched with industrial velcro so no drilling and installation is cheap and it wont fall off. Easier to look at the picture lol.

Looks like someone has a dashlight on a cig plug and the flash pattern switch built in there.

I have a Icom 7000 ham radio in mine, it has a detachable face so the main radio is behind the seat and the head is on the mirror. Can't use the mirror in the fire trucks or my work truck so I will make use of it in my personal truck too.

Will post pics tomorrow, too cold to go out there tonight.

Who do y'all talk to? I had a Uniden on my first truck. I guess I didnt have the best setup because I just never had great reception. Even when I did, unless a friend was driving around, I never had anyone to talk to. I like the idea of the police and fire scanner just for fun tho.

I mounted my ham radio under the lighting controls. I should have pictures up in a few days of all my modifications (so far), to include running wires, antenna cables, antenna mounts, and mounting the radio.
