Question Weathertech digitalfit floormats

I have a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge and was looking at some floor mats, I've been looking at some Weathertech Digitalfit ones but it says they fit 2005 on up but do not have the option for 04. Will they fit the same or is there a difference that prevents it from fitting correctly. I want them to fit properly, not shoved in there. I'm aware of husky and catch it but I like the weathertech look better, more pricey but I'd rather throw out the extra money for the thing I want. Anyone know whether or not if it'll fit?

Might have something to do with the little hook on the carpet, not sure when Ford added them. The WeatherTech mats have the hole for the hook. In 2010 Ford changed the hook design and the WeatherTech mats from 2009 and back would not work for the 2010 and 2011.

I'd call weathertech and ask them.

Older thread yes but still relevant. I bought the Wethertech mats for my 2004 and feel I was ripped off. My truck does not have carpet, just the rubber floor liner. The Wethertech mats may as well be generic mats because the shape could fit just about anything. I would have been better off going to the local auto parts store to get whatever. There is no way to attach them to my floor so they tend to slide easily up under my pedals which can get dangerous. I'll need to fab some sort of hook thingy to help keep the mats in place. They do not fit tightly on the sides between the transmission hump and kick panels.
