Default Center Console

So i broke my armrest/center console when i was putting in my new stereo, (it was broken when i got my truck and i fiberglassed it back together) and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can order a new one or get an aftermarket one. Thanks.

nevermind...answered my own question:

pmac's truck has buckets......(which btw, I can't seem to get those exact seat covers to fit my truck worth a crap. lol. I wanna run 'em bad!!)

Here's a thread for you to look at: http://www.rangerpowersports.com/forum/showthread.php?t=257844

Stay tuned for my full write up on the product/shorty console fix-it kit. It's a full metal replacement guaranteed never to crack like the weak stock plastic ones. I just installed mine before Christmas. It literally is the holy grail of Ranger interior fixes. Well worth the $50 or so for it and it'll last FOREVER!!! If that link doesn't work, just go over to www.rockauto.com and look up a 2000 4.0L Ford Explorer, click interior, click console, and you'll see it....Part # ARM-100. OR just search that part number on RockAuto. Getting a used armrest hinge is just not worth it. It's gonna brake again...I was on #2 before I found this AWESOME product.

Here's some pics of mine....

Kinda. lol. I found screws at Ace that match the ones in the kit, but they're "black" which really, they look like a black bronze chrome. lol. The very front screws, I used stock ford screws....the ones used to mount the headlight switch, dimmer, 4x4 switch, fog bracket....those screws. Also tossed in 3/8" bolts so it doesn't have that upward pitch that yours has. Mine's perfectly level just like stock. No offense to yours of course. Also had to trim the backside where it 'rolls' up. It was like it was WAYYY too tall so out came the grinder. lol.

Perfectionism on interior stuff SUCKS! Damn this OCD.

uggg...i'm being lazy so I uploaded some pics to show it. I'll have a full thread on it someday when i'm not so lazy. lol.

Like way too much curvature making it too tall and if left as-is, it would have made the rear fit and finish just absolutely horrible.

It's going to be MORE $$ than the permanent fix I've posted about.

My price, wholesale, cheapest you can get if you work at a dealer, is right about $75. And that just replaces the plastic that breaks all the time.
