I mounted in the same spot it's easy to get to and you can barely see it.

I mounted mine on the back wall just above the jack cover. It's silver, so it doesn't stand out too much and I can reach it easy enough from just about anywhere.

If someone has done this with a single cab could you post a pic? I've been wanting to do this for awhile but I'm not sure where to mount it

Sorry, the one in my '98 is from the CR-V I totaled before this one, no mounting bracket. It just sits back there in the tray.

Does the standard cab not have a side wall just closer to the seat?

Let me just give you all a huge piece of advice. I've spent many years playing with fire extinguishers. Lots of great experience and some I wish not to repeat.

DO NOT LET THE PIN FALL OUT.

In fact, put a piece of tape or something else easy to remove/break securing it in place. If that pin falls out and something pushes on the trigger, you will be replacing the entire interior of truck.

I couldnt agree MORE. I was on tour with a rock band in 96 and we had a fire extinguisher fight on the tour bus. (I know, not smart but that wasn't a smart time for any of us) Needless to say the bus was sent back to the tour company, and we finished the tour in mini vans. It was 3-4k to clean the bus.
