94 ranger ex cab
seats and console out of a 96 expolder

So far the aux fan under the console has been removed as well as the vents to make room for my standard shift. With the space the fan left i am planning on putting in a power inverter, running 4 gauge wire direct from batt to it, and putting household plugs in where the vents and climate control use to be in the back.

Also i have a whelen switch box that operates my extra lights and toys that will be installed where the ash tray was.

Inside the console will conceal another toy....

Also hoping to put my deep cycle marine battery under the hood with a switch to operate the converter for an extended period of time, makes more sense then just letting it sit in the camper, when i take the camper somewhere the truck goes too!

I like the idea. There's a guy on another Ranger forum who installed an inverter and put power outlets in place of the rear stereo controls. His looked great.

Will you post pics of your lights and other toys? I'd like to see your setup. Good luck with the install Ill be checking back here periodically

pics will follow, yesterday was the rough set, and the idea base, now i am resurching the proper install. pics and such will be soon, cant rush this.

put this post up so others can offer input as we mod.

so far i have learned i need an isolator for my mairine batt and that will caus3 100watt e it to charge and not interfrear with the ford starting batt. toys will run off it,

toys to come,

2 100 watt backup bulbs,
2 200 watt front bulbs, they are aircraft landing lights, each bulb has 2 100 watt filimants

a code3 amp for my music my voice Siren and air horn,

along with lights in the grill and back window. pics soon to come.
